OOPS, Happy Anniversary Debbie and Dave!!

Yes, I know it was yesterday!! Sorry! I was even saying to Dave, I have to email them to say Happy Anniversary, then, well, forgot. Sorry. But HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

A little bird, well, he wouldn't tell me anything

but I should at least be glad he was patient enough for his photo shoot.

Cardinal

We don't see this guy often, he usually hides in the hedges out back, but he ventured out to the butterfly bush last weekend. Judging from his appearance, he must be hanging out more than we think he is. He is HUGE. He switched to the other side of the butterfly bush to the suet block, but he didn't wait for me to get to the other window before he took off. I guess he doesn't like an audience when he eats.

The first one....

was also the one I liked :-)

Richie's Photo Shoot

Yeah, I know from October! It's a recurring theme, October, and me not posting much since then.

Anyhow, I finally weeded through a lot of pictures I pretty much hated, and ended up with a handful that I can tolerate, and just one that I really like. The kid makes weird faces, and the wind that day did nothing in the way of cooperating. You can see the proof portfolio here before Richie gets to see them. I kind of doubt he ever checks my blog. If you see him, don't tell him they are online. I want him to see the proofbook first.

Let me know what you think: PICS HERE.

October?!?!?!

EEEE GADS! No posts since October, I truly am a slacker. Well, that and I can't seem to find any time to play with the computer. The puppies are kind of anti-computer friendly lately. They just jump around so much some days they make me nervous to play with the computer worrying that I'll drop it, or that they will flop on it. And I've been reading.

I'll have to upload some new pictures and try to piece the last few months together accordingly. But, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

For starters though, last night we joined some of my co-workers for a movie. A handful of us girls at work, and dog lovers, read Marley & Me, so we got together to see the movie. As I mentioned, we read the book, so we knew there were sad parts. Fortunately for me, the girls can sympathize with my blubbering at the end of the movie (though I think everyone had tears running down their face by the end). It just hit too close to home and I kept thinking about Tyler. I still miss him so much it hurts some days, like the day we put his ornament on the tree. Anyhow, the movie was good, but I think I liked the book better. I normally do.

And on the book/movie theme... I started reading the Twilight books. I saw the trailer for the movie, and then found out it was adapted from a book. So, I read the book, planning to then see the movie. Well, I have not seen the movie yet, but I am on the 3rd of the 4 books in the saga. I may be out of the age bracket it was intended for, but it's got vampires, what's not to love? Anyhow, I got hooked. Now I am 3/4 of the way though Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn should be here by the end of the week. As for the movie, I'll put it on my list to rent when it comes out on DVD, that should be what, in about a month? Maybe I'll start up my Blockbuster subscription again, or try NetFlix this time.
