Wet puppy

Benson's got hot spots starting up again, and we ran outta spray for him. So I took half the day off to run to the vet and get him fixed up. I went and had lunch with Dave, then went to the vet, ran around and stopped at a couple places before thinking how bored I was by myself then came home. I ran up to dad's real quick and tried starting the bug again, to no avail... then came home and just sat around for a while and played with the puppies. I took the puppy pool outside and Benson jumped right in. He loves the pool!! So, he and I both got baths and I came in and took another one, it's hot out there. Tomorrow Duncan will get his turn. If I remember correctly, he wasn't as fond of the pool as Benson, so I expect to get really wet tomorrow, but at least the weather is good for that, till the rain comes again... it's only a matter of time. I guess it was a semi productive day.

A little productive maybe, except for the one stop at JoAnn Fabric! Connor's birthday is Friday (1 year old already!!), his party is Saturday and I thought maybe I would try to take a few pictures of the 3 boys together. Somewhere I have a few pieces of fabric that make good backdrops, but I haven't a clue where they are. So I stopped at JoAnn's to see what they had. I found something that would have been great, but when I went to get it cut, there was no one around. NO ONE. I walked over to the register and there wasn't anyone there either. I saw absolutely nobody in the store. It was like they all were zapped away. I know there had been people there earlier, but where they went, I haven't a clue. So, I left. There were two ladies out on the sidewalk digging in some sale bins but neither looked like they worked there. Oh well, too bad for them. Normally, standing in line FOR... EVER... is the norm there. The service at that place gets worse and worse... I'm surprised they are still open. When they close, I'm sure it will be blamed on the economy, not the bad service.
