Happy Birthday Crabby!!!
We had a Surprise Sweet 16 party for my Aunt Crabby today. It was a lot of fun. Lots of food, and family. Crabby said she had a really nice time, and that was the whole point, for all of us to get together to have fun with her. We even got to spend some time with our Aunt Maryann and cousins Brent and Brian from Ohio. I am glad you guys were able to make it!! It was so nice seeing you guys. We really need to get together more often!

And YES!!! PICTURES!!!
There are a handful, or so, of days that I can say I know exactly where I was when this or that happened. One of those days was October 21, 1993. I was working at the Barnesboro Star. That particular day, I had been caught up with my own work and had been working downstairs helping some of the girls in the bindery department with a job they had to get out. The phone rang, and that was when I learned that my Aunt Evelyn (aka Crabby) was on her way to Pittsburgh. They had found her a heart. 16 years ago, she had a heart transplant. And 16 years later, we were able to get together to celebrate. :-) I already let them know that when she turns 21, we are doing it again. She wanted to know if she was allowed to drink then. Sure, who am I to turn her down?
