Terri's home and a road trip

My sister is home after spending a few days in Johnstown. They did the cath and didn't find anything. So... they are saying it's angina. Again. That would have to be a pain in the butt. I know on this side it is scary enough, but being on the receiving end has to be super scary. "Oh, oh, chest pain... am I having a heart attack? or just a fake heart attack? Let's go spend a few days in the hospital to be sure!" Well, the GOOD news is it wasn't a heart attack, and hopefully she got some rest for a couple days. And, oh, yeah -- QUIT SMOKING!!

We made a trip to Chambersburg today. I know it is a bit early, but the weather was cooperating, and I can't think of anything for Dave for Christmas. So, I told him if he wanted to pick out his Christmas present, we could do a road trip today. I figured he'd have a better variety to choose from if we went early. Sometimes they don't have a large selection. He found a nice pipe. The guy that owns the place wanted to know if I was gonna make him wait for it. Well, YEAH!! Duh. After Boswell's, we stopped at the trout hatchery and fed the fish for a bit, then went for lunch at one of our regular Chinese stops. Then checked out a camera store next door. We got to try out the new TomTom GPS on the trip. Not that we needed it, but it's nice to know how it works on a real trip instead of just around town. It was a nice day. Now home with the puppies just hanging out.

Not sure what tomorrow brings. Maybe we'll check out the New Moon movie.

Looking like a trend here...

Or, Terri may be continuing what she thinks is a tradition of Crabby's?

Terri is in the hospital again. Chest pains and pain in her left arm. They are going to do another cath tomorrow morning, I think this will be her 4th. I am seriously starting to think she has a thing for her doctor like Crabby use to, you know... always in the hospital around holidays. By my count she has been in the hospital chronologically in reverse order (??what?): This time - near Thanksgiving. Last time, near Valentine's Day. The time before, around Halloween. Huuuummmmm??? I'm just sayin'.

I just hope they get her fixed this time...

And... would be extremely nice if she would seriously, really, QUIT SMOKING!!!

Done being dizzy, I hope

I know, I know... you've known I have been dizzy for a long time, well ha. ha. ha.

Made stained glass jello last week for our Halloween luncheon at work. I was going to make rainbow jello, but couldn't find the recipe. All the ones I found on the internet sounded different. So, I went with something different. It was ok, but not as good as the rainbow jello. I need to locate the recipe.

We did trick or treating last Thursday. The puppies helped. It was fun. But lots of kids older than you should get for trick or treating, which wouldn't bother me so much if they made an effort and at least wore a costume. Heck, I even had my vampire teeth in. While we were sitting out there I started getting a cough. Through the evening I started feeling crappy. Ended up spending last Saturday in bed just snuggling with Benson and watching horror movies and sleeping off and on all day. Missed out seeing Landon and Connor for trick or treating on Saturday. Didn't want to make them sick, turned out it rained and they didn't go anyhow.

Sunday morning started out alright, I felt better as far at the cough, but took a bad dizzy spell later in the evening, and spent much of the week dizzy. Fluid in my ears was causing extreme dizziness. Doc gave me an antihistamine/decongestant to help get the fluid out. Was a slow process... And I hope to never have to go through that again. I was so dizzy I thought I was going to get sick every time I moved. And it made my tinnitus even worse than usual.

So, hoping this week starts out better. So far, feeling pretty good today, and the sun is out, so a positive start to the weekend WoO HOo!
